“Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
And all I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me”
Tonight I had two mini presentations for my class that surprisingly went very well. As the class finished I felt this overwhelming desire to worship and a big sense of gratefulness.
While thanking God He reminded me of the song Great is thy faithfulness.
As I listened to the song and journaled about feeling thankful , I felt as though the Holy Spirit was jokingly telling me to ,”stop acting so surprised that he came through for me.”
Why was I so shocked that everything worked out ?
Wasn’t that what he promised in his word ?
“All things workout together for those who love him and have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
As I worshipped I started to declare that the same God that is faithful in my academics is the same God that will be faithful when it comes to getting a job in my field and He will be the same faithful God to bring together my future husband and I.
His faithfullness is not just for one part of my life but is for every area. Even in that dry place , he is still being faithful. Even in that situation that seems like God is so far from , HE is still being faithful.
*breath in * breath out *
God is not able to stop being who He is.
“If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.” 2 Timothy 2:13
So today I write this to encourage you and remind you to take a look back at your life and at your current situations to remind yourself of faithfulness of God over your life. Think about the history you have with God. Let that and his word be an anchor for you to continue to believe in everything that he has promised.
God is able ,
